The purpose of this Policy is to support:
- User safety;
- Professional integrity;
- appropriate Service matching;
- verification of professional qualifications;
- prevention of identity fraud;
- prevention of credential fraud;
- compliance with applicable professional requirements; and
- responsible access to Aupaire Service Categories.
This Policy forms part of Aupaire's Platform Policies and shall be read together with the Service Professional Agreement, Trust & Safety Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. SCOPE

- Home Care Providers;
- Household Service Professionals;
- Caregivers;
- other regulated Professionals; and
- other Service Professionals approved by Aupaire.
The exact requirements may differ depending on the Service Category.
3. PRINCIPLE OF CATEGORY-SPECIFIC VERIFICATION
Aupaire does not apply one identical verification standard to every Professional.
Verification requirements shall depend on:
- Service Category;
- whether the Service is regulated;
- professional licensing requirements;
- level of responsibility;
- interaction with children;
- interaction with elderly or Vulnerable Adults;
- interaction with Patients;
- nature of the Service;

- date of birth;
- nationality where lawfully required;
- government-issued identification;
- photograph;

5. IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
Aupaire may request a valid government-issued identification document, including where applicable:
- National ID;
- passport;
- residence document;
- other government-issued identification.
The document must be:
- genuine;
- valid;
- readable;
- consistent with the information provided; and
- reasonably sufficient to establish identity.
6. IDENTITY CONSISTENCY
Information submitted by the Professional should be consistent across:
- identity documents;
- professional certificates;
- licences;
- experience records;
- Platform Account information; and
- other verification materials.
Material inconsistencies may require clarification or additional verification.
7. PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS
Every Professional must hold at least a bachelor’s degree. Education, early childhood education, special needs care and related fields are preferred; other relevant degrees are welcome. Depending on the Service Category, Aupaire may require additional evidence of:
- academic qualifications;
- professional certificates;
- training;
- professional licences;
- registration;
- professional membership;
- experience;
- specialised training; or
- other relevant credentials.
8. PROFESSIONAL LICENCES
Where a Service Category legally requires a licence or permit, the Professional must provide a valid licence or other legally required authorisation.
Aupaire may require:
- licence number;
- issuing authority;
- issue date;
- expiry date;
- copy of licence;
- verification information; and
- evidence of current status.
A Professional must not provide a regulated Service through Aupaire without the licence or authorisation required by Applicable Law.

- valid identification;
- valid professional licence to practise nursing;
- nursing qualification or graduation certificate;
- evidence of relevant professional experience;
- professional registration information where applicable;
- certificates relating to relevant specialised training; and
- other documents reasonably required for verification.
The specific scope of nursing Services shall remain subject to Applicable Law and Aupaire's Healthcare Scope of Practice.
10. NURSING EXPERIENCE
Where a Nursing Service requires particular experience, Aupaire may request evidence such as:
- employment certificates;
- experience letters;
- hospital certificates;
- healthcare-facility certificates;
- previous employer references; or
- other reliable evidence of professional experience.
Experience should identify, where reasonably possible:
- employer/facility;
- position;
- period of employment; and
- relevant field of practice.
11. CHILDCARE SPECIALISTS
A Childcare Specialist may be required to provide:
- identity verification;
- education or training certificates;
- childcare qualifications where applicable;
- experience evidence;
- references;
- safeguarding information;
- background checks where lawful and required; and
- other relevant documentation.
Additional requirements may apply because Services involve children.
12. ELDERLY CARE PROFESSIONALS
An Elderly Care Companion may be required to provide:
- identity verification;
- relevant training;
- experience;
- employment certificates;
- references;
- relevant care qualifications; and
- other information reasonably required for the Service Category.
Where healthcare-related tasks are involved, the Professional must also meet any applicable healthcare qualification and licensing requirements.
13. HOME CARE AND HOUSEHOLD SERVICE PROFESSIONALS
Professionals providing household or home-care Services may be required to provide:
- identity verification;
- relevant experience;
- training certificates where applicable;
- references;
- work history; and
- other information appropriate to the Service Category.
Where a household Service includes regulated healthcare or nursing activities, the additional professional requirements applicable to that activity shall apply.

Aupaire may request evidence of professional experience where experience is relevant to the Service Category.
Evidence may include:
- employment certificates;
- experience letters;
- previous employer confirmations;
- facility records;
- training records;
- references; or
- other reliable documentation.
Aupaire may contact a previous employer or institution only where legally permitted and reasonably necessary.
15. REFERENCES
For selected Service Categories, Aupaire may request professional or employment references.
References may be used to assess:
- professional experience;
- reliability;
- suitability;
- conduct;
- relevant skills; and
- experience with vulnerable persons.
A reference does not guarantee future conduct.
16. BACKGROUND CHECKS
Where legally permitted and operationally appropriate, Aupaire may request or conduct background checks for selected Service Categories.
This may be particularly relevant where Services involve:
- children;
- elderly persons;
- Vulnerable Adults;
- Patients;
- private residences; or
- significant access to another person's property or Personal Data.
Background checks shall be conducted only in accordance with Applicable Law.
17. CONSENT FOR VERIFICATION
Where a verification process requires the Professional's consent, the Professional shall provide the required consent before the relevant verification is conducted.
Consent documentation may apply to:
- identity verification;
- background checks;
- credential verification;
- biometric verification;
- reference checks; or
- other verification processes where legally required.
18. BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION
Aupaire may use biometric or facial verification where lawfully permitted and where reasonably necessary for identity or fraud prevention.
Where biometric information is processed, Aupaire shall apply the safeguards described in its Privacy Policy and Applicable Data Protection Law.
Biometric verification shall not automatically establish professional qualification.
19. DOCUMENT AUTHENTICITY
Aupaire may review submitted documents for indicators of:
- alteration;
- forgery;
- inconsistency;
- expiration;
- identity mismatch;
- suspicious formatting; or
- other authenticity concerns.
Where authenticity is uncertain, Aupaire may request additional evidence.
20. THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION
Aupaire may use authorised third-party providers to assist with:
- identity verification;
- document verification;
- professional credential verification;
- biometric verification;
- background checks; or
- other verification services.
Where third-party providers process Personal Data on behalf of Aupaire, appropriate contractual and privacy safeguards shall apply.
21. VERIFICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE
Verification confirms only that the information or credentials reviewed met the relevant verification requirements at the applicable time.
Verification does not guarantee that a Professional:
- will always act appropriately;
- will always provide satisfactory Services;
- will never engage in misconduct;
- will never breach Platform Policies; or
- will never create a safety risk.
Customers should exercise reasonable judgment when using Services.
22. VERIFICATION STATUS
A Professional may be assigned a verification status such as:
- Pending Verification
- Verified
- Conditionally Verified
- Additional Information Required
- Verification Expired
- Verification Suspended
- Verification Failed
Aupaire may use different terminology within the Platform provided that the status accurately reflects the Professional's verification position.
23. PENDING VERIFICATION
A Professional whose verification is pending may have limited Platform access.
Aupaire may restrict the Professional from accepting or performing certain Bookings until verification requirements are completed.
24. VERIFIED STATUS
A Professional may be considered verified when the required verification steps for the relevant Service Category have been satisfactorily completed.
Verification status applies only to the relevant information and Service Categories for which verification has been completed.
25. CONDITIONAL VERIFICATION
Aupaire may permit conditional participation where:
- certain non-material documentation remains pending;
- a verification process is still being completed;
- the relevant Service Category permits conditional participation; or
- Applicable Law permits such participation.
Conditional verification shall not be used to permit unlawful professional practice.
26. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED
Aupaire may request additional documents where:
- information is incomplete;
- documents are unclear;
- information is inconsistent;
- a licence cannot be confirmed;
- experience requires clarification;
- a Service Category has additional requirements; or
- a safety concern arises.
The Professional may be restricted from certain Services until the information is provided.
27. VERIFICATION EXPIRY
Certain documents may expire, including:
- professional licences;
- identification documents;
- certificates;
- training credentials;
- background checks; or
- other authorisations.
Professionals must maintain valid documents and notify Aupaire of material changes.
28. RE-VERIFICATION
Aupaire may require re-verification where:
- a licence expires;
- an identification document expires;
- a credential changes;
- the Professional changes Service Category;
- a material complaint arises;
- a safety Incident occurs;
- fraud is suspected;
- information becomes inconsistent;
- a significant period has passed; or
- Applicable Law requires updated verification.
29. PROFESSIONAL DUTY TO UPDATE INFORMATION
Professionals must promptly notify Aupaire where there is a material change to:
- legal name;
- identity;
- professional licence;
- qualification;
- professional registration;
- experience;
- Service Category eligibility;
- contact information; or
- other information material to their Platform participation.
30. SUSPENSION OF VERIFICATION
Aupaire may temporarily suspend a Professional's verification status where:
- a credential is questioned;
- a licence appears expired;
- fraud is suspected;
- serious safety concerns arise;
- a material complaint is under investigation;
- information is incomplete; or
- continued participation may create a material risk.
Suspension is precautionary and does not necessarily constitute a final finding of wrongdoing.
31. VERIFICATION FAILURE
Verification may fail where:
- identity cannot be established;
- required credentials are not provided;
- documents are materially inconsistent;
- a licence cannot be verified;
- documents appear fraudulent;
- required consent is not provided;
- required checks cannot be completed; or
- the Professional does not meet applicable Service Category requirements.
32. FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS
Submitting a forged, altered or fraudulent document is prohibited.
Aupaire may:
- reject the application;
- suspend the Account;
- terminate the Professional Agreement;
- restrict access;
- preserve evidence; and
- refer suspected fraud to competent authorities where appropriate.
33. IMPERSONATION
A Professional must not:
- use another person's identity;
- use another Professional's credentials;
- allow another person to use their Account;
- provide Services under another person's licence; or
- misrepresent their identity.
Impersonation may result in immediate Account restriction or termination.
34. ACCOUNT SHARING
Professional Accounts are personal to the approved Professional.
A Professional must not allow another person to:
- log into their Account;
- accept Bookings;
- communicate with Customers;
- perform Services;
- receive payouts; or
- otherwise operate through their Account.
A replacement or substitute Professional may only be used where expressly authorised by Aupaire.
35. SERVICE CATEGORY ELIGIBILITY
Verification for one Service Category does not automatically qualify a Professional for another.
For example:
- verification as a Household Service Professional does not qualify a person as a Nurse;
- verification as a Childcare Specialist does not establish healthcare qualifications;
- verification as an Elderly Care Companion does not establish nursing qualifications.
Professionals must satisfy the requirements applicable to each regulated or specialised category.
36. SCOPE OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
A Professional must provide Services only within:
- their verified qualifications;
- their verified experience;
- their professional licence;
- their lawful scope of practice; and
- the approved Service Category.
The Professional Agreement separately requires Professionals to hold and maintain required licences and to provide Services only within lawful professional scope.
37. HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
Healthcare Professionals may be subject to enhanced verification requirements.
These may include:
- professional licence;
- graduation certificate;
- professional registration;
- experience certificates;
- hospital or healthcare-facility experience;
- specialised training; and
- other documents relevant to the Service Category.
38. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Aupaire may establish minimum experience requirements for particular Service Categories.
Where such requirements exist, Aupaire may request documentary evidence before allowing the Professional to accept the relevant Service.
39. SPECIALISED SERVICES
Additional credentials may be required for specialised Services, including where Services involve:
- nursing;
- medication-related assistance;
- post-operative care;
- chronic-care support;
- childcare;
- disability support;
- elderly care;
- specialised household equipment; or
- other activities requiring particular competence.
40. PROFESSIONAL DOCUMENT STORAGE
Aupaire may store copies or records of verification materials where reasonably necessary for:
- onboarding;
- verification;
- re-verification;
- safety;
- compliance;
- dispute resolution;
- legal obligations; or
- Platform administration.
Storage shall be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.
41. ACCESS TO VERIFICATION INFORMATION
Verification information shall be accessed only by authorised persons who reasonably require it for:
- verification;
- safety;
- compliance;
- customer support;
- legal matters;
- dispute resolution; or
- Platform operations.
42. CUSTOMER DISCLOSURE OF VERIFICATION STATUS
Aupaire may display limited information concerning a Professional's verification status, such as:
- Verified;
- verified Service Category;
- relevant qualifications;
- experience;
- selected credentials; or
- other information appropriate for Customer decision-making.
Aupaire shall not disclose confidential Personal Data merely because a Professional has been verified.
43. VERIFICATION BADGES
Where the Platform displays a verification badge or similar indicator, the badge means only that the relevant verification requirements have been completed according to Aupaire's process.
It does not constitute:
- a government endorsement;
- a guarantee of quality;
- a guarantee of safety;
- a guarantee of performance; or
- a professional licence issued by Aupaire.
44. VERIFICATION AND AI
Aupaire may use AI-assisted tools to help identify:
- document inconsistencies;
- identity mismatches;
- suspicious patterns;
- duplicate accounts;
- potentially fraudulent documents; or
- other verification indicators.
AI-assisted verification does not replace required professional or governmental verification.
Where appropriate, significant verification decisions may be reviewed by authorised personnel.
45. VERIFICATION DISPUTES
A Professional may contact Aupaire where they believe:
- their credentials were incorrectly rejected;
- information was misunderstood;
- a document was incorrectly classified;
- verification information is outdated; or
- an error occurred.
The Professional should provide supporting evidence where available.
46. RECONSIDERATION
Aupaire may reconsider a verification outcome where:
- new evidence is provided;
- a material error is identified;
- updated credentials are submitted;
- a licence becomes valid;
- an external verification source confirms the credential; or
- other circumstances justify reconsideration.
47. APPEAL OF VERIFICATION DECISION
Where an appeal mechanism is available, the Professional may request an internal review.
Where Aupaire’s decision suspends or terminates a Service Professional’s Platform access under the Service Professional Onboarding & Platform Participation Agreement, Clause 16.4 of that Agreement applies: the Service Professional may submit a written appeal within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification. This contractual period applies to those suspension or termination decisions; it is not a general deadline for every complaint or verification review.
An appeal should identify:
- relevant Account;
- verification decision;
- reason for disagreement;
- supporting documents; and
- requested outcome.
An appeal does not automatically permit the Professional to provide a Service while verification remains incomplete.
48. SAFETY-RELATED RE-VERIFICATION
Where a serious Safety Incident or credible safety concern arises, Aupaire may require enhanced verification before allowing the Professional to resume particular Services.
This may include:
- updated identity verification;
- updated professional licence;
- additional credentials;
- additional experience evidence;
- additional background checks where lawful; or
- other appropriate verification.
49. PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT AND CREDENTIAL REVIEW
Where a complaint indicates that a Professional may have:
- misrepresented qualifications;
- acted outside professional scope;
- used an invalid licence;
- provided false information; or
- engaged in fraudulent conduct,
Aupaire may initiate a credential review independently of the ordinary complaint process.
50. REGULATORY COOPERATION
Where required or appropriate, Aupaire may cooperate with:
- governmental authorities;
- professional regulatory bodies;
- licensing authorities;
- courts;
- law-enforcement authorities; and
- other competent authorities
in connection with verification or credential matters.
51. VERIFICATION AND PROFESSIONAL PAYMENTS
Aupaire may restrict or delay access to certain payouts where:
- required verification has not been completed;
- a Professional is not authorised to perform the relevant Service;
- a serious credential concern is under investigation; or
- another contractual or legal basis exists.
Any payment hold shall be handled in accordance with the Professional Agreement and Professional Payments & Payout Policy.
52. VERIFICATION AND BOOKING ACCESS
Aupaire may restrict Booking access according to verification status.
A Professional may be prevented from accepting a Booking where:
- required credentials are missing;
- a licence is expired;
- a Service Category requires additional verification;
- verification has been suspended; or
- a safety or compliance restriction applies.
53. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Professionals remain responsible for:
- maintaining valid credentials;
- maintaining required licences;
- providing accurate information;
- notifying Aupaire of material changes;
- complying with professional requirements; and
- ensuring that they do not provide Services beyond their lawful scope.
54. AUPAIRE'S VERIFICATION LIMITATIONS
Aupaire will take reasonable verification steps appropriate to the relevant Service Category.
However, verification may not identify:
- all past misconduct;
- all future misconduct;
- undisclosed criminal conduct;
- every inaccurate statement;
- every professional deficiency; or
- every safety risk.
Verification should therefore not be interpreted as a guarantee of future behaviour.
55. FALSE REPRESENTATIONS
A Professional must not materially misrepresent:
- qualifications;
- experience;
- licences;
- professional registration;
- employment history;
- identity;
- Service Category eligibility; or
- other information relevant to Platform participation.
Material false representation may result in enforcement action.
56. PROFESSIONAL STATUS CHANGES
A Professional must notify Aupaire where:
- a licence is suspended;
- a licence expires;
- professional registration is cancelled;
- a qualification is withdrawn;
- a regulatory restriction applies;
- they become legally unable to provide the relevant Service; or
- another material eligibility change occurs.
57. EXPIRING DOCUMENTS
Aupaire may notify Professionals where a verification document is approaching expiry where the Platform supports such notifications.
The Professional remains responsible for renewing required documents.
58. VERIFICATION REMEDIATION
Where verification can reasonably be corrected, Aupaire may allow the Professional to:
- upload a clearer document;
- provide missing information;
- correct an error;
- provide updated credentials;
- complete additional verification; or
- otherwise remedy the verification issue.
59. TERMINATION FOR VERIFICATION FRAUD
Aupaire may terminate a Professional's Platform participation where there is credible evidence of:
- identity fraud;
- credential fraud;
- impersonation;
- forged documents;
- deliberate material misrepresentation; or
- repeated attempts to circumvent verification.
60. DATA PROTECTION
Verification information may include Personal Data and, depending on the Service Category, potentially sensitive information.
Aupaire shall process such information in accordance with:
- its Privacy Policy;
- Applicable Data Protection Law;
- applicable security requirements; and
- legitimate verification purposes.
61. DATA MINIMISATION
Aupaire shall seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for:
- identity verification;
- professional verification;
- safety;
- compliance;
- Platform administration; and
- other legitimate purposes.
62. THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION DATA
Where verification is performed through a third-party provider, information may be exchanged with that provider only as reasonably necessary for the relevant verification process and subject to applicable contractual and privacy requirements.
63. POLICY REVIEW
Aupaire may periodically review this Policy considering:
- new Service Categories;
- changes in professional requirements;
- regulatory developments;
- safety incidents;
- verification fraud;
- technology developments; and
- operational experience.
64. POLICY CHANGES
Aupaire may update this Policy to reflect:
- changes in Applicable Law;
- new professional categories;
- new verification providers;
- new verification technology;
- new Service Categories;
- changes to professional licensing requirements; or
- improvements to Platform safety.
The updated version shall state its effective date.
65. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt and other Applicable Law governing the relevant Service.
Nothing in this Policy shall permit a Professional to provide a regulated Service without any licence or authorisation required by law.

Category-specific legal authorisation
For elderly-care categories, Aupaire must determine whether the actual tasks require elderly-companion accreditation under Law No. 19 of 2024 or another authorisation, and verify the required evidence before category activation. Identity checks, platform approval and an Aupaire experience certificate do not replace statutory accreditation, a nursing licence or any other legally required qualification.
67. FINAL PROVISION
This Professional Verification & Credential Policy forms part of Aupaire's Platform Policies and shall be incorporated by reference into the Service Professional Agreement.
A Professional's verification status is specific to the information, credentials and Service Categories reviewed by Aupaire and does not constitute a general certification of the Professional's competence, character, safety or future performance.
Where Applicable Law imposes mandatory licensing, registration, qualification or professional requirements, those requirements shall prevail.
POLICY SUITE ALIGNMENT
References to the Trust & Safety Policy mean the standalone policy included in the Platform Policy Suite. Unless a separate Acceptable Use Policy is adopted, acceptable-use references mean the applicable Community Standards, prohibited-activities schedules and safety requirements. The incident and complaint procedures and Governance & Alignment Addendum continue to apply. In the event of an inconsistency, the Service Professional Onboarding & Platform Participation Agreement or Customer Terms & Conditions, as applicable, prevails over this Policy; this Policy prevails over operational guidance, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION — ARBITRATION
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this Policy or its application, including any question concerning its interpretation, performance, breach, termination, existence or validity, shall be finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of Kemet Center for Arbitration and Mediation in force on the date the request for arbitration is submitted. The seat of arbitration shall be Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. The tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator. The language of the arbitration shall be Arabic, and the substantive law governing the dispute shall be Egyptian law. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the Parties and may be enforced in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this clause prevents either Party from seeking urgent interim or conservatory relief from a competent court, making a report to a competent authority, or exercising a mandatory right that cannot lawfully be waived. Where this Policy is incorporated into, or applies under, a Customer Terms & Conditions or Service Professional Agreement containing a dispute-resolution clause, that contractual clause shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
